• The Principal Officer-in-Charge of University and College Examinations as per section 18 (1) (a) & (b) of the Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994
• Commencement and Conduction of approximately 1000 University Examinations every year for 750000 students of various programs at 650 colleges and 70 University departments
• Arrange for processing and printing of question papers of more than 32000 manuscript and arrange for delivery of same at around 600 examinations centers

Steps taken to transformed the University Examinations System during the tenure

• Initiated the e-Governance in the Examinations system of University of Mumbai
• Drafted and released two important VCD’s with exhaustive information about the process of revaluation and Ph.D. entrance test procedure as per UGC guidelines
• Designed and articulated Eight Digit Numeric Unique Code (Uniform Examination Code) for all the University Examinations for computerization   
• Contributed & Introduced in designing of Semester Based Credit & Grading System for UG & PG programs.
• Introduced Bar Coded cum OMR technology in the University Examinations System to block the unfair practices.
• Workshops conducted at various colleges for smooth implementation of Bar Coded cum OMR system & Credit & Grading System.
• Introduced new security features in the University marks statements and certificates to avoid the duplication and misuse of the same.
• Online System Implemented for receipt of term work / practical /oral marks from the engineering colleges.
• Digitization of the University examinations results records for fast track verification process.
